After leaving home at the age of seventeen, he started a successful construction company to pay for his University tuition and his first apartment. He left school, started a product development company, failed, hit (one of many) rock bottoms and was forced to have to get a 9-5 job to make ends-meet.
He started work at an ad agency, and then a month later was laid off (along with close to 400 other employees). One week later he took his last $500 dollars and, turned it into his own multimillion-dollar Ad Agency. He now co-owns an influencer agency www.blitzmarketing.co with his wife Katrina Xavier and is the founder of Renegade Alpha®.
Ryan has spent two decades building his own successful businesses. He’s personally worked with over a thousand business owners and entrepreneurs to help grow their companies and has been directly responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.

Finding a Way Forward Through COVID-19
Born and raised in Vancouver, Milton was once a Scholars Edge Operator, District Manager, & General Manager. After working in the painting industry and mentoring students for five years, he decided to move on to one of his life long dreams of becoming a Licensed Realtor in Vancouver.
To this day, Milton is now one of the youngest realtors in the city and has found success early on in his career, most recently recognized as one of the top agents in RE/MAX Crest for consecutive months in the ‘new to industry’ category.
A lot of the day to day activities that Milton conducts as a realtor is relatable to what he did back with his business as a Scholars Edge Operator. A lot of the skills such as leadership, marketing, sales, client relations etc. was developed throughout his time with Scholars Edge and how now given him an upper edge compared to his competition.
Outside of being a realtor, Milton also runs a high performance hockey company as well as coaches a minor hockey team in the city. If there is one thing he does best, it is maximizing his time efficiently through daily routines and being extremely self disciplined.

Milton's Introduction to the 2021 Scholars
I would like to welcome all of you to the 2021 Scholars Edge Team. My name is Steve Acorn and I am the owner of YEAA/Student Painters. Congratulations on being accepted into our elite program. You are one of only 30 young entrepreneurs across Western Canada that have been accepted for this summer’s challenge. You have made the first step towards investing in your future. I know from previous experience you will have an incredible story to tell come September.
I went to school in Ontario, Canada and moved to the United States in 1987. I began (just like you) as a Branch Manager in Sarnia, Ontario. I became an Executive my second year and worked with 10 other college students teaching them how to run a business. During my Senior year, 1987, I decided to try this concept in the state of Michigan. I had the belief that this is the best experience you could ever get as a summer job so I decided to join full time. I knew how this experience changed my life and wanted others to get the same benefits. This in now my 32nd summer training College Students how to run their own business. Working with motivated and driven students never gets old to me. To be able to work with young, aspiring minds and help change the course of their life is both an honor and a privilege.
